ABOUT ME
Started airbrushing and painting including lettering and Pinstriping in 1975 in Orange Co. Ca. My dad would drop me off at the Orange Co. Swap meet at the drive-in theater and I would airbrush on shirts and whatever else in a booth that a guy had selling blem clothing. Got better at airbrushing and was hired by Jeff Scozzaro of "Jeff's Place" in Anaheim. Left after four days after wet sanding on camper shells all day. That's OK. Learned how to properly sand a vehicle. Went back to airbrushing and started doing work and Pinstriping at many shops and car dealerships in S.Cal. including Kolor Me Kustom, Vans Unlimited and Oddesey Auto Body. Started doing mini truck back windows in 1979. Some of the first were Fleetwood Truckers in gold leaf. Designed and/or did dozens of other clubs including Banzai, ABC, Below Sea Level, Second Look, Severed Ties, Syndicate, Visions, Audio Concepts, Sonic Excellence, Everlasting Impressions, Medieval Hardbodies, Sunset, Coastline, Stylin, California Lows, Cruizin’ Image, Tropical Toys, California Hip Trucks, Public Image, Selektive, Ecstasy, Ground Level, New Concept, California Cruizers……..Worked with Kolor Me Kustom on numerous vehicles. Worked with Pete Santini. Worked with Dick Dean. Worked with Boyd Coddington. Worked with and did logo for Dick DeLoach’s Truckin Mag. Moved to Bakersfield in 1986. Was at D & J Kustomz with Dion Guliano and designed the Bad To the Bone with owner Kyle Gann. Worked with and shared space with Erik Coleman of KolorShoppe. I am sure there are many clubs I did not list. Many cars in Truckin’ Mag also.
